Catalog description

This course will explore contemporary film of the German-speaking world as a vehicle for listening comprehension, vocabulary building, written and oral proficiency, and cultural literacy. Significant time will be spent analyzing the content and context of the films based on their cultural, historical, social and political themes. PREREQ: 6 UNITS OF 300 LEVEL COURSES IN GERMAN OR CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR
