Catalog description

This course provides an introduction to the concepts which describe the origin and evolution of the earth. Special emphasis will be placed on understanding 1) the internal and external earth processes, 2) material composition of the earth, 3) the scientific method as applied to the study of the earth, and 4) the evolution of earth through time. (NSW, NSWL) COREQ: MATH 139 OR MATH 140 OR MATH 141 OR MATH 142 UNREQ: A STUDENT MAY EARN CREDIT FOR ONLY ONE OF GEOLGY 100 OR GEOLGY 101 .
