This course examines the adaptation of literature to film. Through critical analysis of narrative fiction - short stories, novels, plays, graphic novels - and the films they inspire, students will investigate the history, narrative, conventions, iconic elements, and cultural significance of literary adaptations to film. (HA, HA-H) PREREQ: ENGLISH 102 OR ENGLISH 105
