“Sustainability” is the new mantra for communities, nations, and companies around the world. The elusive term means many things to many people, but what’s at its heart? And should we be striving to achieve it? In this course, we’ll explore the history and origins of the term, how it’s used within academia, governments, and corporations and sort the “greenwashing” from actual structural change.
