Writing is a complicated venture that takes various forms depending on purpose, audience, etc. But, there is also a science to how and why writing happens. This course will introduce you to foundational and current theories of composition/writing to enhance your writing abilities and, if you are an educator, enhance your ability to teach writing. PREREQ: (UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN (ENGLISH OR ENGLISH EDUCATION)) OR INSTRUCTOR CONSENT
