Catalog description
This course is designed to introduce the students to thinking about disability as a rhetorical and cultural phenomenon. The students will explore how disability has been imagined in western culture through an examination of literature, and they will also consider how disabled people have themselves sought to represent their own experience in defiance of established norms.(HA, HA-H) PREREQ: ENGLISH 102 OR ENGLISH 105
