CRITICAL WRITING IN THE FIELD OF ENGLISH

Catalog description

This course will help students become proficient in the skills of research, organization, writing, and revising that they will need in upper-division English courses. Students will learn both the general conventions of academic writing about literature (literary criticism) and the specific methods of some of the most important kinds of literary criticism. PREREQ: ENGLISH 102 OR ENGLISH 105
