Catalog description

This course is designed to fulfill the WI DPI environmental education requirement. Conservation issues and phenomena are explored within the framework of teaching climate change with information drawn from many scientific disciplines. We consider current and future phenomena, impacts on organisms interconnected in ecosystems and our natural resources, and potential solutions for mitigation. Fundamental knowledge, strategies, and tools teachers may use to empower students are explored. PREREQ: MUST BE ADMITTED TO ELEMENTARY MIDDLE EDUCATION MSE
