This course is designed to provide pre-service teachers with a foundational understanding of social emotional development, understand causes of challenging behaviors, strategies for teaching self-regulation, promoting positive peer interactions, plan for environmental considerations, understand classroom behavior management, and plan implementation of classroom management interventions strategies. PREREQ: ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND (EARLY CHILDHOOD/EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION MAJOR)
