Catalog description

In an age of constant digital noise and external demands, this course invites students to turn inward and explore the transformative power of personal listening. Students will identify skills and practice attuning to their inner voice. Research related to cell phone use, mental health, mindfulness and a sense of belonging will be explored. A Mindfulness for Stress Resilience course will be integrated in the first half of the semester. Applying these grounding skills interpersonally will occur through small group experiences.
