Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare students to work with families of typically developing children, children with disabilities, and children placed at-risk for developmental delays and educational challenges. Students learn about accessing a variety of resources to communicate and collaborate with families, working with specific populations placed at-risk, and how to determine family strengths and needs. PREREQ: ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND (EARLY CHILDHOOD/EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION MAJOR)
