Catalog description

This course analyzes the role of the public sector in the U.S. economy. Students evaluate different government policies by employing modern theoretical and empirical tools. Students examine policies involving healthcare, education, taxation, social insurance and business. PREREQ: ECON 201 AND ((COBE MAJOR: 2.50 CUMULATIVE GPA) OR (NON-COBE MAJOR/MINOR/COBE MINOR: 60 CREDITS AND 2.00 CUMULATIVE GPA))
