Catalog description

This applied, case-based course integrates microeconomic and macroeconomic reasoning for managerial decision-making. Students analyze pricing, demand, costs, market structure, and competitive strategy alongside the macroeconomic environment—growth, inflation, interest rates, fiscal/monetary policy, and exchange rates. Emphasis is on critical thinking, problem solving, and quantitative literacy using real data and short case write-ups to illustrate key topic areas. PREREQ: ( ECON 202 AND ECON 245 ) AND ((COBE MAJOR: 2.50 CUMULATIVE GPA) OR (NON-COBE MAJOR/MINOR/COBE MINOR: 2.00 CUMULATIVE GPA))
