Catalog description

In a preschool – 3rd grade school setting students will apply theoretical understandings regarding curriculum planning and adaptive support for behavior and curriculum for young children to meet individual needs. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will be placed in an inclusive classroom at the Pre K – 3rd grade level. At least one of the EARLCHD 792 student teaching placement must be a PreK/K placement. Students are provided supervision by a Cooperating Teacher, and a University Supervisor. Reflective practice, universal design principles and integration of content knowledge through developmentally appropriate practices will be emphasized.
