Catalog description

This course provides theoretical and experiential understandings of group work, including principles of group dynamics, theories of group counseling and group leadership and facilitation styles. Group counseling methods are experienced directly in the learning process. Multiple group approaches, necessary to work effectively in a multicultural society, are explored. PREREQ: COUNSED 718 AND COUNSED 722 AND ADMISSION TO MS COUNSELING PROGRAM OR CONSENT OF INSTRUCTOR
