Catalog description

The course focuses on major theories of career development and decision making models. It addresses sources of career, educational, leisure, occupational and labor market information, career information systems, assessments, techniques pertinent for career planning, placement, and follow-up. Interrelationships between work, family and other life roles as well as multicultural issues in career development are examined. Students will have the opportunity to be involved with career development program planning, implementation, evaluation and theory application. COREQ: COUNSED 718
