Catalog description
General concepts and applied methods of computer system security, especially as they relate to confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. Topics include system security analysis, access control and various security models, information flow, protection against external and internal threats, malware, and reverse engineering. This is a hands-on course, where you will learn by working on programming assignments and projects. PREREQ: ( COMPSCI 223 OR COMPSCI 230 ) AND COMPSCI 271
