Catalog description

Students in this course learn to prepare PR tools that are designed to influence the news media's coverage of the organization and the issues affecting the organization. This course introduces them to the standards and conventions that guide the journalist's work. Students learn to prepare news releases and other common tools used by PR professionals to communicate with the media.
