Catalog description
This course provides introductory knowledge in normal and disordered voice and resonance production with a primary focus on the physiological bases of phonatory/laryngeal disorders and speech/resonance disorders associated with craniofacial anomalies. Theoretical principles underlying the prevention, assessment and treatment of phonation and resonance problems across the lifespan are emphasized. PREREQ: COMDIS 278
