PRE-STUDENT TEACHING SEMINAR

Catalog description

This course is designed to support students during their pre-student teaching placement ( CIFLD 322 /324). This course will provide opportunities for students to discuss and reflect upon their experiences in the local schools. In particular, it is designed to help students process and connect what they are learning in their educational coursework (e.g., Social Studies Methods II [ SECNDED 430 ], which is being taken concurrently) with what they are experiencing in local schools during their pre-student teaching placement. PREREQ: ADMISSION TO PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND SECNDED 340 AND SECNDED 425 COREQ: CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT IN SECNDED 430 AND ( CIFLD 322 OR CIFLD 324 )
