Catalog description

This course provides teacher candidates the opportunity to develop teaching experience in classroom settings across a variety of school settings and the grade band of their license. This allows teacher candidates to apply theoretical understandings regarding positive discipline approaches for students and the adaptation of both curriculum and the environment to meet individual needs and abilities. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Experience, students will complete pre-student teaching experiences that are developmental in scope and sequence and that provide student teachers the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the Wisconsin Teacher Standards.
