Catalog description

This course, while assessing anthropology's long-term relationship with First Nations and Indigenous people, primarily presents an opportunity for students to engage with the representation of contemporary Indigenous cultures, identities, and communities through anthropological reading and study. This will be accomplished through the examination of ethnographies, literature, and other media forms. Students will be asked to reflect through discussion, writing, and examination. PREREQ: MINIMUM SOPHOMORE STANDING
