Catalog description

Students will develop science teaching practices for grades K-9, including investigation-based science lessons that support elementary and middle school students as they engage with, explore, and explain science phenomena. Peer-to-Peer teaching required. A minimum grade of C in this course is required for all education majors. This course meets one requirement for undergraduate education majors which leads to the EA or A licensure OR 4-12 licensure in Wisconsin and for undergraduate elementary education majors seeking a K-9 license.
