Essentials of Mathematics for Elementary and Middle School Teachers

Catalog description

This course for pre-service teachers includes mathematical content and concepts required to teach mathematics at an elementary and/or middle school level. The course explores mathematics topics essential for teacher competency, as well as methods for teaching mathematics grades K-9. The prerequisite for this course is the completion of a University Studies math course. A minimum grade of C in this course is required for all education majors.
