Catalog description

This course prepares future school counselors to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive school counseling programs aligned with the ASCA National Model. Students explore the counselor’s role in delivering academic, career, and social/emotional development services through data-driven decision-making, equity-focused interventions, and collaborative schoolwide practices. Through applied projects and experiential learning, students develop professional artifacts and gain practical skills necessary to lead and advocate within a K–12 comprehensive school counseling program.
