Catalog description

A supervised, experiential learning course designed for students completing a field experience in criminal justice settings such as policing, corrections, probation, courts, or related agencies. Students gain hands-on experience within justice organizations while engaging in structured course activities that promote critical reflection and applied learning. The course emphasizes understanding criminal justice institutions through practice, reflection, and connection to prior coursework.
