Catalog description

The course provides a platform for students to explore antibiotic-producing bacteria found in soil and various natural environments, allowing them to conduct hands-on research that fosters a genuine connection with scientific inquiry. Through this experience, students not only learn about microbiology but also contribute to a growing database of knowledge that supports antibiotic discovery (Tiny Earth). (Lecture one hour, Laboratory two hours)
