Catalog description

Introduction to foundational principles of ecology and evolutionary biology investigating adaptations of organisms to their environment, natural selection, population biology, life-history strategies and evolutions, ecological and evolutionary consequences of species interactions, and ecosystem processes. Lab activities emphasize using standard sampling methods to collect and analyze data from local ecosystems. Completion of CHEM 105 is recommended but not a prerequisite. (Lecture three hours, laboratory three hours).
