Catalog description

Explores relationships among culture, behaviors and mental processes. Addresses cultural commonalities and differences in cognitive processes, such as perception, memory, and language; interpersonal processes such as marriage and childrearing; and mental health problems and treatments. Psychological perspectives on multicultural issues such as race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation. Prerequisite: Take either PSYC-110 or SOC-110 or ANTH-220
