Introduction to visual literacy through still and moving image photography, utilizing mobile devices. Narrative, cinematic, and photographic theory with an emphasis on developing analytic and conceptual skills. Concepts, processes and techniques applicable to many disciplines. A student-provided mobile device (smartphone) with still photographic and video capabilities is required for the course.
