Ensemble Leadership I

Ensemble Leadership I, first in a three-course series. Students work independently, with directors, and in small groups learning leadership skills for ensembles, including purpose, organization, communication, and management. Basic conducting skills will be taught and practiced. Concert preparation skills in publicity, advertising, and program layout and program note writing. Minimum of two semester of any of the following: MUSIC 264 , MUSIC 266 , MUSIC 267 , MUSIC 269 , or MUSIC 270 ; OR instructor consent
