Catalog description

Topics in business-related mathematical problem solving including simple and compound interest, annuities, mortgages, supply and demand, break-even analysis, best-fit lines, problem solving with systems of linear equations, linear programming, set theory, Venn diagrams, counting principles, basic and conditional probability, and expected value. Prerequisites: Math Placement Level 2 or completion of MATH-90 with a grade of C+ or better.
