Overview of various advanced manufacturing technologies, applications, materials used in, design of parts, assemblies, and processes for additive manufacturing. Laboratory aspect with emphasis on design, artifact characterization and improvement of additive manufacturing parameters. Preparation for the Certified SolidWorks Associate Additive Manufacturing certification exam. Prerequisites: take ( ETECH-256 or ETECH-201 ) and ( ETECH-150 or PKG-220 or ETECH-250 or ETECH-251 ) and ( STAT-130 or STAT-320 or STAT-330 ).
