Introduction to uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs), including components, onboard sensors, and applications. Analysis of UAV components, functions, flight dynamics, control, and sensor-based data collection methods. Assembly and operation of UAVs, including sensor integration. Remote sensing, environment mapping, and trajectory planning. Preparation for the FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107). Prerequisites: take PHYS-241 , PHYS-281 or ENGR-292 ; ETECH-100
