up to 3-9 credits; up to 3 times Cultivating awareness of United States cultures, with an emphasis on investigation of Wisconsin and the Midwestern United States. Building discussion and critical thinking skills through topic-based lessons, guest speakers, conversation partner interactions, local site visits, and cultural activities. Prerequisite: Enrolled in the English as a Second Language Institute
