Catalog description

Kinematics of particles, rigid bodies, and systems. Analysis of position, velocity, and acceleration. The relationship between the motion of bodies and forces or torques. Study of particles and rigid bodies subject to translation, rotation, and general planar motion using Newton's laws of motion, work-energy methods, and impulse-momentum methods. Prerequisite: take PHYS-291
