Catalog description

Introduction to basic economic principles and methods. Microeconomics deals with choices of consumers and firms, market structure, price theories, and taxes. The course covers macroeconomics issues such as national income (GDP), economic growth and development, employment, inflation, money and Federal Reserve, interest rate, investment, the exchange rate, and International Trade. *Not open to students who have taken ECON 210.
