Fundamental concepts and methods in the field of data mining in order to discover meaningful patterns and knowledge from large datasets. Issues in data acquisition, integration, preprocessing, analysis and reporting. Hands-on examples from practical applications illustrating the concepts covered in the course. Prerequisite: take CS-324 .
