Transformers and magnetic circuits. Theory of electromechanical conversion. Structures and operating principles of different types of DC and AC electric motors and generators. Control aspects of these machines with modern electric drives. Analysis and design of these systems using analytical models and simulation software. Prerequisites: take CEE 235
