Catalog description

Kirchhoff's voltage/current laws, node/loop analysis, dependent sources and operational amplifiers. Modeling ideal/real resistors/capacitors/inductors, steady state/transient behavior of circuits. Sinusoids, phasors, impedance, steady state AC analysis, power factor, resonance, and frequency response. Single/three phase power distribution and transformers. MultiSim, MATLAB, Function generators and oscilloscopes in laboratory. Prerequisite or corequisite: take MATH-154 or MATH-157
