Experiences leading to deeper understanding of bioinformatics through participation in a "linked-courses" interdisciplinary learning community. Students will complete a faculty-advised semester research project, write a senior thesis describing their project, present the results in an appropriate research forum, and participate in the learning community journal club. Prerequisite: take MSCS-492
