Introduction to the targets of the action, routes of delivery, safety profiles, biotransformation, and elimination of medicines. Pharmacological interventions for disorders of the major human organ systems including the cardiovascular system and disorders of mood. Current advances using personalized medicine to select medications. Prerequisites: take BIO-132 , or BIO-234 or CHEM 115 or CHEM-135
