Advanced undergraduate preparation for K-12 visual arts teaching with an emphasis on student-centered instructional methods and assessment. Includes an art practicum in an elementary or secondary art classroom in which the teacher candidate documents the process of implementing a standards-based unit of visual arts instruction. Prerequisites: Benchmark I
