Discussion and practicum course which combines contemporary theory and practice in art education. Examine art instruction as an avenue for students to explore real-world issues that are significant beyond the art studio. Practicum experience includes the implementation of a visual arts unit in an authentic K-12 teaching environment. Prerequisite: Passing Benchmark I
