Alternative Process Photography

Catalog description

up to 3 times for a maximum of 9 credits (effective Spring 2025) Applications of photography outside of traditional digital and analog processing, including both historical and hands-on processes. Explores an expanded definition of photography and lens-based media. Experimentation with hand-coated papers, fabrics, and other non-traditional materials will be explored, as will working with installation-based approaches to photographic image-making. Prerequisite: take ART 101 w/ C or better
