Bricolage, Bridges, and Transdisciplinary Analysis

Catalog description

This course teaches students how to create meaningful transdisciplinary narratives that combine the myriad skills and modes of analysis found in the Applied Social Science program. This includes a sophisticated foray into what it means to think, write and enact the interdisciplinary methodology of the Applied Social Science program. This course will teach students how and why interdisciplinary methodologies are essential tools in framing themselves and their research in relation to the world at large. Prerequisites: Senior standing or consent of instructor and APSS 400 .
