Explores sport structures and governance models in areas outside of the United States with an emphasis on how sport is organized, managed, funded, and governed globally. The course takes a global perspective of sport to understand its economic, cultural, sociological, and political role in Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, Asia, Australia/Oceana, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
