Catalog description

Identify the interdependent relationships in ecosystems, and how this relates to ecosystem dynamics, function, and resilience. Understand the interrelatedness and principles of evolution at multiple levels from molecules to ecosystems. Develop scientific skills to form hypotheses, analyze and interpret data, evaluate biological literature, and relate biology to society. Develop inquiry lessons for use in the K-9 classroom. Does not count towards the biology or biochemistry major/minor. Course required for students completing the Life Science Certificate.
