Catalog description

This course views the broad and complex issues of gender and sexuality through many lenses in order to deepen students' understanding of contemporary and historical phenomena related to these issues in the U.S. Studying psychological, cultural, social, and political discourse on gender and sexuality, the class will clarify the specific subject positions, challenges, and systems of oppression experienced in and by sexual and gender minority communities.
