Catalog description

This course addresses two major areas: 1) how number and operations concepts are taught in grades K-3 and 2) how children in grades K-3 learn mathematics. Emphasis on the development of number concepts and properties. Course includes a field component. Prerequisites: Completion of Associate in Early Childhood Education or by consent of intructor. Materials fee required. (F)
